Dr Seuss – A famous American Poet, Writer and Cartoonist. He was popular for his writings, especially for children’s books. He was born on March 2nd of 1904. March 2nd is also celebrated as “National Read Across America day”, as organized by the “National Education Association”. This day was observed throughout America to initiate literacy among people. People were motivated in inculcating reading practices.
Famous writer, poet, and cartoonist dr seuss, has written many children’s books usually consist imaginative characters in it. Out his many books, around 46 children’s books were published. Apart from imaginative characters, his writings mainly consisted of Rhyme and trisyllables (which consist of three syllables).

His most famous books, that got best recognition and selling all over the world was; “Green Eggs and Ham” , “Horton Hatches the Egg”, “One Fish Two fish red Fish Blue”, “The Cat in the Hat”; fish”, and “How the Grinch Stole Christmas, etc.

His works was famous and popular among the public that most of creations were re-created in various forms.
